The Agriturismo LA LUCCIOLAIA is a superb example of a traditional Tuscan farmhouse, located approximately 7 km from the historical centre of San Gimignano. From its hilltop position, breathtaking views of the surrounding vineyards stretch for miles and even the towers of San Gimignano can be admired in the distance. Here, there is nothing but peace and tranquility owing to its outstanding location. The sympathetic restoration of the farmhouse has led to the creation of 11 double bedrooms and 2 splendid, panoramic suites. In the grounds of the farmhouse, guests can enjoy the beautiful swimming pool set amongst the well tended vineyards, as well as a panoramic veranda, a favourite spot for a delicious local aperitif. From the rear of the agriturismo, views can be admired of the rolling hills, woodlands, vines, small chapels and cypress trees which are typical of the Tuscan countryside. During the day, as the hours go by, a myriad of colours slowly transform to soft lighting, culminating in breathtaking sunsets.
